Volunteer Opportunities
Registering Voters
- You can become a “Deputy Voter Registrar” (DVR) by going to this Travis County site, where you will fill out a form with your information, watch a 20-minute training video, and then take a test
- Organizers for the Blue Action Democrats and the League of Women Voters set up voter registration opportunities at various events and sites
- Let me know if you become a DVR by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page, which takes you to a form that directs an e-mail to me
- filling out a form I’ve set up for this precinct website — you can find it by clicking here.
Writing Postcards
Our southwest Austin chapter of the Blue Action Democrats will begin weekly postcard parties at Doc’s Backyard Grill this summer.
To get on the list to be notified about postcard parties, use the link at the bottom of this page.
Knocking on Doors in our Precints
Become part of our outreach program, talking to people in your area who are likely Democrats. Blue Action Democrats can give the tools to do this — including lists of neighbors and a useful phone app.
Knocking on doors is the GOLD STANDARD for effective “get out the vote” efforts.
Letting me know about your interest
Click here to get to our precincts’ Contact Form to let me know if you can help in any of these ways.
